Braylen Morgan, fifth grade student at Burbank Elementary School, gives opening at the September 6 School Board meeting

 

Braylen Morgan, a fifth grade student at Burbank Elementary School, was selected to give the opening at the September 6, 2023, School Board meeting. He read a poem entitled I Am Somebody, compiled by Daniel M. Buggs and reworked by Dr. LaTonya Harris. 

Braylen enjoys playing video games, soccer, and going to Busch Gardens. His favorite subject is math and he has two younger sisters.

Braylen’s stepfather, Nana, siblings, and Dr. Heidi Brezinski, principal of Burbank, joined him at the meeting.
