HCS holds 3rd Annual Science Fair

Hampton City Schools held its 3rd Annual Science Fair on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Virginia Air and Space Science Center. The division had 43 student presenters and nine winners.

“If you haven't heard the good news, Hampton City Schools is on the move with science,” shared Dr. Janice Richison, HCS science curriculum leader.  “Students from Machen Elementary, Phillips Elementary, Kilgore Gifted Center, Eaton Fundamental Middle, Tarrant Middle, Syms Middle, and Kecoughtan High School presented their science fair projects utilizing the Scientific Methodology under the exciting umbrella of science at the Virginia Air and Space Science Center. The students were all absolutely amazing, and I am so proud of their accomplishments!”
