Brian Ranger, Jr., a rising freshman at Kecoughtan High School, gives opening at the July 12 School Board meeting

 

Brian Ranger, Jr., a rising freshman at Kecoughtan High School, was selected to give the opening at the July 12, 2023, School Board meeting. He read a poem entitled One by Shawnee Kellie.

Brian will be attending the Academy of Performing Arts next school year. He likes math, but his true passion is singing, dancing, and performing. He has one sister and one brother.

Brian’s parents, siblings, grandmother, and the administration team from Kecoughtan, as well as Paul Lawrence, Kilgore Gifted Center principal, joined him at the meeting.
