HCS holds Kindermusik sessions

This Saturday, July 29, 2023, Hampton City Schools will hold fun interactive Kindermusik sessions for families with children entering PreK and kindergarten. The sessions are at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. and will be held on the first floor of the Ruppert Sargent Building, 1 Franklin St. in downtown Hampton, VA 23669. Free parking is available in the downtown garage.

Kindermusik combines music, movement, and language in fun, stimulating, and educational activities. The program teaches young children language through music with movement. Families and children play with instruments, dance, sing, and listen to stories. More information about Kindermusik can be found here.

“We are excited to continue our journey to implement Kindermusik in all of our elementary schools for children and families. We hope families with their PreK and kindergarten age children will come out and learn about Kindermusik,” said Kelly Dee, HCS visual and performing arts curriculum leader.

The Kindermusik sessions are part of the HCS Splash of the Arts series. The full schedule can be found here.
