Joshua Murphy of Bethel High School earns honorable mention in the 2024 NASA Art Contest

Joshua Murphy, a senior at Bethel High School, achieved honorable mention in the 2024 NASA Art Contest, which centered around the theme "NASA: Connecting the Dots." Titled 'Adam's Evolution,' Joshua's artwork was mentored by his art instructor Christie Liddell.

Joshua is one of two students in the Tidewater Region who placed in this year’s contest. 

Ai Choo Ashe, teacher specialist for the visual and performing arts department for Hampton City Schools shared, “Joshua’s interpretation of the theme is beautifully expressed in the colors and the elements that illustrated how art and technology are used to help ‘connect the dots’.”
