Phoebus High School seeks nominations for their Athletic Hall of Fame

Phoebus High School is seeking athlete, coach, and team nominees for the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Nominations must be received/postmarked by January 4, 2024, and meet the respective criteria.

Athlete Nominee
The qualifications to be inducted as a student-athlete into the Phoebus High School Athletic Hall of Fame are as follows:

*The nominee through athletic achievement must have brought distinction and honor to themselves, and to the Phoebus High School athletic program.
*The nominee must be a Phoebus High School graduate and at least 10 years removed from their high school graduation.
*The nominee must have participated as a student-athlete in the Phoebus High School athletic program.
*The nominee may have received recognition for exceptional athletic performance (district champion, regional champion, state champion, etc.)
*The nominee must have displayed integrity and be of good character on and off the field.
*The nominee is to be considered for their achievement in interscholastic athletics.
*The nominee may be inducted posthumously.

Coach Nominee
The qualifications to be inducted as a coach into the Phoebus High School Athletic Hall of Fame are as follows:

*The nominee must have served as a coach for the Phoebus High School athletic department.
*The nominee must have made a substantial impact and brought credit, distinction and honor to the Phoebus High School Athletic Department.
*The nominee must have shown dedication to the growth and development of their student athletes both on and off the field of play.
*The nominee must have displayed integrity and be of good character both on and off the field.
*The nominee is to be considered for their coaching achievements in interscholastic athletics  while coaching at Phoebus High School.
*The nominee may be inducted posthumously.

Team Nominee
The qualifications to be inducted as a former team into the Phoebus High School Athletic Hall of Fame are as follows:

*The nominee through athletic achievement must have brought distinction to itself, to Phoebus High School, and the athletic program.
*The nominee must be at least ten (10) years removed from the high school graduation of the team senior players.
*The nominee must have participated as a team representing Phoebus High School.
*The nominee may have received recognition for exceptional athletic performance such as district, regional or state champions.
*The nominee must have displayed integrity and good character on and off the field of play.
*The nominee is to be considered for their achievements in interscholastic athletics. 

NOTE: Under extenuating circumstances, specific criteria may be waived by a two-thirds vote of the selection committee.

Nominations and/or downloading of the form may be made by clicking here. Nomination forms may be submitted electronically or downloaded and mailed to the school. Nominations must be received/postmarked no later than January 4, 2024.
