Public relations & marketing department earns awards from the Chesapeake Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association

The Hampton City Schools (HCS) public relations and marketing department earned an award of excellence (the highest recognition), an award of distinction, and two honorable mentions from the Chesapeake Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (CHESPRA). The winners were announced during the fall CHESPRA Conference in Short Pump, VA

 

The CHESPRA Communications Contest recognizes outstanding communications produced by public school districts and private schools located in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Entries must have been produced during the previous school year and are judged by media and public relations professionals.

 

HCS received the following awards:

Class of 2023 Graduation Videos – award of excellence


Teach Hampton Video Series – award of distinction


HEF Fest materials and branding – honorable mention


Welcome Back to the 2022-2023 School Year – honorable mention
