Smith Elementary School creates animal-themed artwork in collaboration with the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter

Victoria Martin, art teacher at Smith Elementary School, is collaborating with the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter to create and exhibit animal-themed artwork within the school building. This display will be updated monthly to showcase more of the students' work. Moreover, to support the cause of promoting adoptable pets, the students will be creating artwork inspired by the shelter's animals later in the school year, which will further contribute to promoting adoptable pets at the shelter.

“These talented young artists have shown remarkable creativity in their artistic pursuits, and we applaud Mrs. Martin for her inspiring guidance and leadership,” shared Ai Choo Ashe, teacher specialist for visual and performing arts.
