Full Sail University Mobile Experience to visit Hampton City Schools


Hampton City Schools visual and performing arts department will bring the Full Sail Mobile Experience to the Peninsula. Bethel High School, Hampton High School, Kecoughtan High School, and Phoebus High School seniors in career-related courses will have the opportunity to tour the exhibits. The Full Sail Mobile Experience brings a full semi-truck to schools with several immersive walk-on industry career experiences. Select students in career-related courses will tour the exhibit October 17 through 20, 2023. The exhibit experience includes: 


Art, Animation, and Design – Students will create and send themselves 2D and 3D artwork with Apple Pencils and iPad Pros equipped with design software used by industry professionals.


Game Design & Esports Station – Participants will compete with fellow students at the video game station. The multiplayer gaming console features games played by Full Sail’s Amanda Esports Team.

 

Video Production Station – Students will have the opportunity to direct an event in the Sony Anycast video switcher as they cut between cameras, graphics, and shout casters to recreate a professional broadcast.

 

Technology and VR Station – Students will experience a virtual world with a Meta Quest 2.

 

Audio Engineering Station – Participants mix and compose music in real-time using a RAVEN MTX touch-screen console and professional mixing software.
