Accounts for student learning in either an in-person or virtual learning environment based on student selection made during spring 2021. Masks are optional for students and required for staff and visitors.  

  • All students returning to in-person learning under a traditional bell schedule will maintain physical distancing of at least 3 feet, to the greatest extent possible.

Those students (K-12) who requested virtual learning will be served through Virtual Virginia or Edgenuity online programs.

School and/or community metrics dictate that all teaching and learning is provided in a virtual environment for all students as determined by CDC and VDH guidance.

  • All students who opted for in-person learning during the 2021-2022 school year will participate in virtual instruction that will be delivered by their roster teachers.

Those students (K-12) who requested virtual learning prior to the start of the school year through the division’s virtual learning application process will continue to be served through Virtual Virginia or Edgenuity online programs.
